Yesterday, we read the book, Danny and the Dinosaur. The children were all very excited to learn more facts about dinosaurs...how they lived millions of years ago, how they are now extinct and how people have found their bones in the Earth. The children wanted to go on a dinosaur hunt. Some of them made maps to lead them to Dino bones; others dressed in hard hats and vests to search out dinosaurs in our dramatic play area. Some dug out little dino bones in our sand table. All very exciting stuff!
